CE marking of manually operated doors

CE marking means that the manufacturer of the door has ensured that the door meets all the safety requirements and regulations that apply to the gate, but the gate owner also has a certain responsibility. In this information sheet gates are used as a collective name for manually operated (not motorized) swing gates, roof- sliding gates, folding gates, shutters, roller gates and gates, where the basic purpose of the gate is to allow passage for goods, vehicles and people. Exterior doors or interior doors intended for passenger traffic are not included in the description given in this information sheet.
