Annual and spring meeting May 16-17

Many thanks to everyone who attended the Portgruppen annual and spring meeting at Hörmann in Örebro on May 16-17. It was two intense days filled with insightful discussions, exciting presentations and rewarding meetings with colleagues from the industry. This year we also broke a record with 50 participants. Here is a summary of some highlights from the meeting.

Sustainability in focus: One of the central topics during the meeting was sustainability. We had the privilege of taking part in a practical tutorial by Anna Karin Jönbrink and Marie Ahlgren from Afry. Their presentations gave us concrete tools and strategies to drive sustainability work forward.

Financial review: Mats Kinnwall gave us an in-depth analysis of the economic situation. By understanding the economic conditions, we get a solid foundation for making decisions and navigating successfully in the business world.

The employer's role in focus: Another important part of the meeting was the presentation on what is important to know from an employer's perspective by Annica Vestman from Teknikföretagen. Discussions on total defense issues, wage transparency and the latest guidelines from the Swedish Work Environment Authority gave us valuable insights and advice on how to handle these issues effectively.

Networking and community: In addition to the formal presentations and discussions, we also had plenty of time to network with colleagues and catch up on the latest in the industry. Being able to share experiences and ideas with like-minded people is one of the most valuable parts of these meetings.

In conclusion, the 2024 Annual and Spring Meeting was a great success. We would like to thank all participants, speakers and hosts for their commitment and contribution to the success of the meeting.
