Burglary protection in Sweden is regulated by the Swedish Theft Protection Association (SSF), which sets standards for products that are intended to prevent unauthorized intrusion. The basic regulations SSF 200:6 divide buildings and premises into three protection classes, based on the amount of property susceptible to theft and the value of protection.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For industrial doors, the standard SSF 1074:1 applies, which specifies requirements and testing in three classes, where class 3 provides the highest burglary protection. For shutters and rolling grilles, either SSF 012:4 with four protection levels or the standard SS-EN 1627:2021 is used, which covers resistance classes RC1\u2013RC6. To meet protection classes 1\u20133 according to SSF 200:6, at least RC 4 is required.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

An approved locking device must meet at least class 3 according to SSF 3522:2, which ensures that the lock and its components achieve the correct level of protection.
