The industry association Portgruppen was formed in 1975 and has since worked for the good of the industry in the form of common standards, networking, advocacy, statistics and training.
The Port Group's membership base consists of companies involved in the design, development, manufacture and marketing of doors for commercial and industrial purposes, automated doors primarily for passenger traffic, garage doors and other related products such as docking systems, cargo houses and weather protection.
The association organizes two member meetings annually, focused on promoting learning, inspiring and strengthening networks within the industry.
As an active member of the European industry organization EDSF – European Door and Shutter Federation – Portgruppen is part of a larger network consisting of countries such as Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden and Germany.
The Portgruppen works for high security, high quality and high technical standards in the industry.
In our port group, we strive to ensure efficient and smooth handling of various matters and issues by organizing ourselves into various committees. These committees are composed of committed members who contribute to promoting our common goals and interests.
