Course: Safe Port Basic (digital education)

Safe Port Base is a 90-minute digital training course conducted via Teams. The aim is to raise the general level of knowledge in the industry and create consensus and a common application of regulations in the door industry.

During the training, you will receive an introduction to EU legislation and Swedish legislation, responsibilities related to working with gates, the CE marking process and basic safety issues.

Training goals
After the training, the participants have received:

  • A brief introduction to relevant regulations
  • An introduction to the CE marking process
  • An introduction to national regulations for inspection and service
  • Basic knowledge of liability issues
  • To participate in the training Safe Port in practice, which processes Swetic's Experience Documents, requires that you have completed the Safe Port Base or Secure Port 1 (2024).

    Price: SEK 1,500 excluding VAT per person
    Registration is binding, but the place can be transferred to a substitute.
    If you cancel after the last day of registration, the full fee will be charged.

    We reserve the right to cancel the training if there are too few registrations.
    The training is conducted via Teams and a link will be sent out the day before the training. We recommend that you connect via computer.

    Course: Safe Port in practice

    Safe Port in practice is a full-day training course held throughout the year at various locations in Sweden. The aim is to raise the level of knowledge regarding the content of the Experience Document and, based on this, to know what applies in terms of responsibility and in the context of inspections.

    The goal of the training is that everyone should have received

    • A practical review of Swetic's (the industry organization for inspection companies) collected experiences of the 52 most common inspection remarks.
    • Explanation of both the remark and how to avoid or correct the error.
    • Good knowledge of initial inspections, recurring inspections and audit inspections
    • Knowledge of the responsibilities of all parties

    Safe Port Basic, or the Safe Port 1 review in 2024, is a prerequisite for participating in the Safe Port in Practice training.

    Price: Member 4,500 SEK excluding VAT, non-member 5,500 SEK excluding VAT.
