Successful autumn meeting
The Portgruppen's autumn meeting on 14-15 November 2018 began on the first day with an appreciated lecture on the importance of knowledge about the safe use of lifting devices and lifting equipment, which was given by Roger Cederström at EDU Performance. Teknikföretagen's business lawyer Mats Bergström informed about better and safer business with standard agreements – NL 17 and the Portgruppen's delivery regulations. Teknikföretagen's chief economist Mats Kinnwall spoke about the economic situation. The Portgruppen members also received information from Jan Tegehall, Minerva Safety AB, about the latest news regarding standards in the door industry.
The day ended with pleasant networking and cooking together at Aveqia in Vasastan. The new member Östgöta Portservice AB participated for the first time, and had the opportunity to socialize with the other member companies in a pleasant atmosphere.
On day two, a study visit was made to one of Stockholm's largest projects, Slussen, and information was received about how they work with planning roads, water, a bus terminal and infrastructure. The entire project is expected to be completed in 2025. A final lunch was taken at the nearby Hilton Slussen restaurant Eken.
