New fact sheet Loading docks

There is now a new fact sheet produced by the Port Group about loading docks.

A dock leveller is used to equalize the level difference between the loading dock and the truck. It is important that the dock leveller and associated equipment on the dock leveller are designed in accordance with the regulations that apply to manufacturers and the regulations at the workplace/dock leveller where the dock leveller is to be used. There are also requirements for dock leveller inspections to be carried out by an accredited inspection body.
This information sheet aims to provide an overview of the regulations for CE marking of loading docks as well as some regulations for the use of loading docks.
