Hello there Marcus Hellens, Portleveransen!

Can you tell us briefly about Portleveransen – who are you and what do you do?
– The foundation lies in a company that started working with doors back in 1999, mainly with service for industry. Since then, the business has developed into a complete supplier that works with sales, installation and service of garage and industrial doors and gates. In recent years, growth has been strong, including through e-commerce and a broader geographical presence in Småland and Skåne.

How would you describe your role in the industry today?
– Today, the role is quite comprehensive. Assignments range from design to finished installation and service. One of our strengths is our background in the construction industry, which gives us a good ability to understand drawings and put together complete solutions from multiple suppliers.

You have recently joined the Portgruppen – why?
– The ambition is to constantly develop, and the Portgruppen is seen as a natural forum for this. The focus is both on increasing quality and safety, and on exchanging experiences in a larger network.

What do you hope to get out of membership?
– Above all, knowledge and exchange of experience. The opportunity to both contribute with your own perspective and learn from the experiences of others is valuable, as is strengthening expertise in line with increasing demands within quality and the environment.

How do you see the industry developing going forward?
– A lot is happening, both technically and in terms of environmental and functional requirements. The goal is to be a reliable partner who helps customers choose the right solution from the start, regardless of whether it is a simple door or more advanced systems.

Finally – why do you think more people should get involved in the Port Group?
– A trade association is more concrete than a broad business association, since everyone is working on the same issues. It provides more direct benefits in everyday life through the exchange of experiences, joint development and new contacts. It is both an intimate and effective way to develop together.
